Series 4K Neo Subwoofer
The 2024 Series 4K is conservatively rated at 4000 watts RMS. Custom designed and built by hand in the Pacific Northwest. All of our magnets are machined in-house using low carbon American steel and come with high-gauss N52 grade neodymium magnets. Our Series 4K voice coils, which are also wound in-house feature 4″ four-layer copper wire voice coils that are wound on .010 tempered aluminum formers with a 3″ winding height and adhesive rated at 360°C. These are the highest temp coils available anywhere (other than our Series 8k 500°C coils)! We are manufacturing all nomex spiders pressed with phenolic resin in-house with our own Pierce Audio custom-built spider press and tooling. This 4K powerhouse handles HUGE amounts of power for extended periods.
All Series 4K’s come standard with either dual 4 or dual 2 Ohm voice coils (Inquire for other options). Sizes include 12″, 15″, 18″ and 21″. Built to order and many custom options available including SPL, Low FS and Home Theater applications. Just ask!
- Vented N52 Neo pillar design or Y35 quad stack magnet assembly with direct voice coil venting
- Low carbon American steel motor with 2″ pole vent and 1″ thick top plate.
- 10″ progressive red spider pack that are Nomex pressed with phenolic resin.
- Six-spoke long throw cast aluminum baskets.
- 4″ four-layer copper wire voice coil wound on a .010 tempered aluminum formers rated at 360c.
- Dual 2 Ohm or dual 4 Ohm voice coils (manufatured in-house).
- Heavy non-pressed spruce pulp cones with long strand Kevlar reinforcement or made to order Composite (Please contact us for more information).
- Multi-layer big roll foam surrounds stitched to the cone body for long throw and maximum cone area.
- No terminals here! —> 8 ga. direct-connect wire.
All subwoofers are made to order and ship within 4 to 6 weeks. Pierce Audio Inc. offers lifetime technical support on all subwoofers. Custom options are available and may add additional build time and costs to orders.
