Home Theater Series 12k Subwoofer
Our largest and highest output home theater subwoofers, our series 12K’s combine high sensitivity with extreme power handling while also maintaining superior low frequency response. Breaking the rules of moving coil speaker design, you can have all three parameters in quantity without sacrificing any one for the other two (High Power Handling, Sensitivity, and Low Frequency Response). Conservatively rated at 12,000 wrms each! With a 2″ diameter NdFeB N52 Neodymium Magnet 12 pillar design. Available in Dual 1 Ohm and Dual 2 Ohm 360c rated voice coils. Custom designed and built by hand in the USA. The Series 12k’s are made for the most extreme applications where there can be no compromise in output or power-handling. Includes European made 6″, four-layer, round aluminum wire voice coils. Wound on Stainless Steel formers with a huge 3.25″ winding height, the series 12K voice coils handle INSANE amounts of power.
All Series 12ks come standard with Dual 2 Ohm voice coils (inquire for other options). Sizes include 21″, 24″ and 33″ (for now). Built to order and many custom options available including Neo-Magnets, full Composite Cones, and Carbon Fiber Dust Caps. Contact us!
- 2″ diameter NdFeB N52 Neodymium Magnet 12 pillar design.
- Bolted back-plate with 3″ pole vent and 1.25″ thick top plate.
- Custom tooled 12″ – 15″ progressive black Nomex spider pack with integrated quad flat tinsel leadwire.
- Eight-spoke long throw cast aluminum baskets.
- 6″ four-layer round aluminum wire voice coil wound on a stainless steel former.
- Dual 1 Ohm or Dual 2 Ohm voice coils.
- Heavy pressed spruce pulp cones with Kevlar reinforcement (full composite cone options available on request).
- Multi-layer big roll foam surrounds, stitched to the cone body for long throw and maximum cone area. Please note composite cone options do not come with stitched surrounds.
- No terminals here! —> 4 ga. direct-connect wire.
Home Theater Series 12k subwoofers are custom made to order and ship within 4 to 6 weeks. Pierce Audio Inc. offers lifetime technical support on all subwoofers. Custom options are available and may add additional build time and costs to orders.
