Tunable Passive Radiators
Custom designed and built by hand in the USA. Pierce Audio passive radiators are the only option for tuning small enclosures lower than would be possible if you are using a conventional port for tuning. Smaller enclosures many times would need a very long port for low tuning which is not possible for most applications, making passive radiators the only option. We use a thick spruce pulp non-pressed cone body, non-resonant cast frame, multi-layer foam surround, and class leading excursion capabilities (100 mm peak to peak) Pierce Audio radiators are a perfect match for use with Pierce Audio home theater or car audio subwoofers and are also compatible with many other drivers. Pierce Audio passive radiators uses solid aluminum discs to attach the spider to cone while adding mass for low tuning we can build to a specific mass or make them adjustable. The adjustable disc has a 1/4-20 threaded hole to attach weight for tuning adjustment. For immersive audio with stunning dynamics and clarity, that produce the lowest frequencies at the highest output levels, while maintaining exceptional accuracy and high sensitivity, Pierce Audio passive radiators are the clear choice.
