Home Theater Series 1.5k Neo Subwoofer
Conservatively rated at 1500 watts RMS and perfect for sealed boxes, ported boxes, and other applications. Custom designed and built by hand in the USA. All of our magnets are machined in-house using low carbon American steel. The new 2025 Series 1.5k’s are made with 6 large 1.5″ diameter pillar’s of N52 Neo-Magnets on low carbon posts increasing BL and providing greater sensitivity than previous models. The series 1.5k feature 3″ four-layer copper wire voice coils are wound on .010 tempered aluminum formers rated at 360°c (680°f). These are the highest temp coils available anywhere. The NEW 2025 series 1.5K’s are capable of over 3″ of peak to peak excursion. We are also now manufacturing all spiders in-house with our own Pierce Audio custom-built spider press. They are made with Nomex material pressed with phenolic resin. Series 1.5k WMD subwoofers deliver extreme bass in a variety of applications using only the highest innovative materials available. Sizes available include 12″, 15″, 18″ and 21″ All subwoofers are made to order so if you have any custom requirements just let us know and we’ll make it happen!
- NdFeB N52 Neodymium Magnet 6 pillar design.
- 10″ progressive red Nomex spiders.
- Six-spoke long throw cast aluminum baskets.
- 3″ four-layer round copper wire voice coil wound on a .010 tempered aluminum former (BAA).
- Dual 1 Ohm, Single 4 Ohm or Single 8 Ohm flat wire copper voice coils.
- Non-pressed spruce pulp cones with long strand Kevlar reinforcement.
- Multi-layer big roll foam surrounds for long throw and maximum cone area.
- 8 ga. direct connect wire.
All subwoofers are made to order and ship within 4 to 6 weeks. Pierce Audio Inc. offers lifetime technical support on all subwoofers. Custom options are available and may add additional build time and costs to orders.
