Due to the current global environment’s uncertainties with overseas supply chains, Pierce Audio has made the decision to completely re-engineer our business model as well as our product line-up to meet our customers’ needs for high quality and accessibility, in a consistent, reliable, and reasonable timeline, which by design will be unaffected by the global supply chains that other companies mostly rely on, which can be unpredictable, and unstable at times.
Pierce Audio Inc. now designs, machines, and assembles all speakers/drivers and most of our parts, in-house, for many different applications. Including all of our magnets which are now machined in-house using low carbon American steel.
We are also winding our coils in-house wound on .010 in. tempered aluminum formers with adhesive rated at 360°C – 500°C and .010 in. Nomex 410 reinforcing collars. These are the highest temp coils available anywhere!
We have also set up manufacturing Nomex spiders pressed with phenolic resin in-house with our own Pierce Audio custom-built spider press.
All of our composite parts are now made in house using a vacuum bagging technique with the resin infusion process which optimizes the resin to composite material ratio for the strongest possible parts. Materials available include carbon fiber, Kevlar, glass fiber, and hemp with core materials such as foam core, Lantor Soric (honeycomb core material), Balsa, or Basalt core.
But wait we are not stopping there; we have also implemented additive manufacturing to our inventory. A production line of 3d-printers of various sizes which gives us the capability of developing rapid prototyping of tooling for many of our finished products, such as terminal cups and composite cone molds for our resin infusion processes etc…
We offer Online Sales, Dealer Sales and OEM Services. Our current line-up ranges from 12″ up to a colossal 33″ in diameter. We provide a 1-year warranty and lifetime tech-support on everything we build.
